Shaker Heights Police Chief Scott Lee Named to Chancellor University's Board of Trustees

Seven Hills, Ohio, November 12, 2012 – Chancellor University is pleased to announce that Shaker Heights, Ohio, Police Chief D. Scott Lee has joined its Board of Trustees.
Chief Lee joined the Shaker Heights Police Department in May of 1986, after serving with the cities of Cleveland Heights, Warrensville Heights and East Cleveland. While with the Shaker Heights Police Department, he worked his way up through the ranks, and has served as the President of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #23, SWAT Team Commander, Strike Force Unit Commander, Investigative Bureau Commander, Northern Ohio Law Enforcement Task Force and FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force liaison coordinator, and as a member of the Ohio High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) Budget and Initiatives Subcommittee.
A Kent State University alumnus, Chief Lee is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy, the Southern Police Institute (SPI), the Law Enforcement Foundation’s Certified Law Enforcement Executive Program (CLEE), and Police Executive Leadership College (PELC).

This is an important step in Chancellor’s efforts of continuous improvements in the area of university governance.”
