Student and Educational Records
Chancellor University, in the execution of its responsibilities to
students, must maintain accurate and confidential student records. However,
the University recognizes the rights of students to have access to their
academic and personal records in accordance with existing University
guidelines and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974
(FERPA). Please access the following link for additional information
http://www.ed.gov/policy/gen/guid/fpco/ferpa/index.html.
On occasion, the University will provide directory information to agencies
outside the University who may request student information. Directory
information includes the student's name, home town, major field of study,
dates of attendance (current and past), full- or part-time enrollment
status, residency status, and degrees received at the University. A student
not wishing to have any or all part(s) of the directory information
released must inform the Office of Academic Records in writing.
Transferability of Credits to Other Colleges and Universities
While acceptance at other colleges and universities is not and cannot be guaranteed, students are advised to contact the admissions offices of the schools they are interested in attending to inquire about the transfer of Chancellor University credits prior to enrolling. The decision to accept transfer credit from the Chancellor University is at the discretion of the receiving institution.
