The Online Faculty Training & Development Department of Chancellor University is dedicated to preparing and supporting online faculty members in successfully facilitating online courses.

Online Faculty Training & Development is committed to improving the quality and experience of the online classroom with a student-centered focus, effective resources, quality assurance, and a collaborative learning environment.

Interested candidates please complete the online application, and submit a cover letter indicating the preferred area(s) of instruction along with a resume to FacultyServices@ChancellorU.edu.


Interested candidates please click here to complete the online application. Online faculty training consists of a three-week training course, covering the following topics and includes Completion of assignments that demonstrate knowledge of these areas:

  • Learning Management System navigation.
  • Classroom Expectations.
  • Classroom Requirements.
  • Content, Resources, and Tools.

Upon completion of training, online faculty will:

  1. Know the experiential learning model
  2. Understand ANGEL navigation, features, and functions
  3. Understand policy, procedure, and effective classroom management
  4. Know how to use quality resources and materials
  5. Know your role in the learning process of the online student
  6. Be eligible for an online faculty contract
