Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice
Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice- This program provides a solid foundation for a career in criminal justice. Students may pursue the A.S. as an immediate educational goal or as an intermediate goal en route to earning a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. The Associate’s degree provides an introduction to the diverse career opportunities in the justice field, and students may use the A.S. as a springboard to a career in police work, law, homeland security, or investigations.
Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Education- Ground Campus Only
Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Education - Approved by the American Bar Association, this degree is designed principally for those who have some law office or paralegal experience. While many large law firms and corporations require a four-year degree for employment, many employers will consider an Associate degree and experience instead. Paralegals are not licensed to practice law and cannot give legal advice, but they do much the same work as attorneys and are bound by the same ethical principles.
Associate of Applied Science in Public Administration
Associate of Applied Science in Public Administration - The program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary in understanding policy and program formulation, implementation and evaluation, budgeting and financial processes and functions of various levels of government. Students acquire critical and analytical skills through coursework in social sciences, economics, and law.
