College of Business
The Chancellor University College of Business offers a variety of business programs at the undergraduate and graduate level. The basic types of students within our College include the traditional student seeking a business degree as well as working adults looking to further their business education. Courses within the various degree offerings are available online as well as on ground.
The primary goals of the College are as follows:
- To provide high-quality programs that are innovative and reflect current best practices within key business disciplines
- To maintain a dedication to principal stakeholders - students and the business community
- To impart critical business skills and the ability to apply such skills to our students' professional careers.
Undergraduate Level
The undergraduate programs of study in the College of Business offer a practical balance between theory and application in business education. A standardized business core provides students with a generalist background in business. This foundation is then complemented by the student's chosen course of study, all of which are described below. This format creates College of Business graduates who have both generalist and specialized professional knowledge necessary to succeed in the business world.
Graduate Level
We offer two graduate business programs through the Jack Welch Managment Institute at Chancellor University; the MBA program is 36 credit hours and the MMG program is 30 credit hours, both of which are described below. Each of these programs builds upon the business experience and education that successful professionals have already acquired in their careers and undergraduate studies. The flexibility of our graduate programs accommodates the needs of our busy working professionals; classes are offered evenings, weekends, or online. Most of our faculty have significant work-related experience to support their academic credentials.
Further, our graduate programs offer rigorous state-of-the-art curricula which blend relevant academic concepts and theory with real-world business application.
