Becoming a CU Mentor

Chancellor University Mentor Connect

Current students at Chancellor University are asking for your help.  They are looking for guidance, opportunities and support.  That is where you come in.

You have written cover letters, perfected your resume, chased internships, and know what it is like to hope for that first job out of school. You have worked in the business world, made it as an entrepreneur, or possibly found fulfillment in a career outside of your degree.

As a mentor, you will guide a student by being a sounding board, giving career advice, or helping make connections in the professional world.  The relationship between the mentor and student will largely be determined by those involved. You can expect to spend about two to three hours a month working with your student.

If you are in the Cleveland Area you may want to take the student out to dinner or coffee. Long-distance pairings will communicate over the phone and through e-mail.

If you would like to work with one or perhaps two current Chancellor University students, please contact Career Services at 216-432-8948 or careerservices@chancelleru.edu.

The Chancellor University Mentor Connect is a partnership project between Career Services and Alumni Affairs at Chancellor University.
